Mrs. Pistole and 61 high school students went to the middle and elementary school buildings on May 7, 2024. The students taught four different Spanish lessons to five different grade blocks from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The students had to:
create four different lesson plans
-predict foreknowledge of each grade level when planning lessons
-practice teaching the lessons in front of peers
-integrate technology into the lesson plans
-predict possible problems with technology
-predict levels of student engagement and plan for possible issues during each lesson
-make adjustments to the lessons based on time, student engagement, ability, and even weather!
-develop hands on activities for each lesson
-follow an “I do, we do, you do” approach for each lesson
